Hundreds of career opportunities are still up for grabs in a range of industries showcased at Mike's annual Apprenticeship & Skills Fair held last week.
The Fair, which was held last Thursday at the Richardson Hall in Wordsley, saw Mike bring almost 20 organisations together to tell local people more about the training and career opportunities they have on offer.
Organisations with vacancies included: Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Stonegate Pubs, Dudley Building Society, Severn Trent, Lloyds Bank, Russells Hall Hospital, West Midlands Police, LEMA (Lean Engineering and Manufacturing Academy) and others.
People of all ages attended the event, but Mike is encouraging those who couldn’t make it on the day to still consider an apprenticeship or one of the other pathways available through these organisations.
Mike said:
“I first want to thank all of the exhibitors for coming along to give local people this opportunity to hear more about some of the fantastic career pathways which are out there.
“Many of the exhibitors still have vacancies, so for anyone who couldn’t make the event it’s still well worth a look on the websites of these organisations and getting in touch with them if you see something you think could be for you.”
