Dudley South MP Mike Wood brought the community together to raise money for one of the country's best-known cancer support charities.

The MP invited people into his office in Wordsley as part of Macmillan's "World's Biggest Coffee Morning" - the second time he has taken part.

A total of £150 was raised by visitors to the event.

Mike's office team showed they could be in the next series of Bake Off, and cakes were also donated by family, and by Natalie Neale of Time 4 Tea in Wall Heath.

The MP dashed from his own event to make it in time to support the one at Wordsley Community Centre.

Speaking after the event, Mike said:

"Macmillan Cancer Support do amazing work to help people affected by cancer.

"Events like today's offer a great opportunity having a lot of fun, bringing the local community together, while raising money for this brilliant cause."
