The Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has commended local school children from across Dudley South for their efforts and artistic talents put on show by Mike's annual Christmas card.
After being shown a copy of the card by Mike, the Prime Minister asked Mike to pass on a “big well done” to the finalists and all those who entered.
The card features artwork from eight lucky winners who entered Mike's Christmas card competition which saw more than 1000 entries from across Wordsley, Kingswinford, Wall Heath, Brierley Hill, Brockmoor, Pensnett and Netherton.
Mike said:
“Our local children have got so much artistic talent and I really do love being able to share this with my colleagues in Westminster whenever I can.
“The Prime Minster was really impressed by the eight winning designs and asked me to pass on a big well done to the winners and all those who entered.”
As well as making it onto the Mike’s Christmas card which is sent out to contacts across Dudley, the West Midlands and even to the King himself in London – the 8 winning designs are also being displayed on digital screens at Merry Hill over the Christmas period.
